Services covered
These terms cover the services listed on our pricing page. These terms cover every VibePitstop service: diagnosis, fixes, security audit, Launch Path, MVP, Rescue, Care and Unlimited. Each job also gets a written scope; if the scope and these terms conflict, the written scope wins for that job.
Quotes, scope and payment
How a job is scoped and priced: we agree a fixed price and written scope with you by email before any work starts; changes to scope are agreed in writing first, and any price change is quoted before we do the extra work.
Payment timing and method: payment is due up front, before work starts, by card via Stripe.
Diagnosis credit: the $149 diagnosis fee is credited in full toward any paid fix or bundle you book with us.
Taxes and currency: prices are in US dollars and exclude any sales tax that applies.
Turnaround
we give a target turnaround in your written scope; if we miss it, we tell you why and give a new date, and if we cannot deliver the quoted fix we refund the unused balance (see the Refund Policy)
Client responsibilities and access
you give us the access agreed in the scope, read-only where possible; you share credentials only through a secure method we agree, and rotate them after the job; fixes arrive as pull requests that you review and merge; you are responsible for your own backups
Guarantee and rework
Fixed, or we keep working free until it is (within the written scope). To claim it, email us; the guarantee covers only the issue named in the written scope
Refunds and cancellations

Subscriptions (Care, Unlimited)
Care and Unlimited are billed monthly in advance and renew each month until cancelled; cancel any time before your next billing date and you are not billed again; work in progress at cancellation is handed over as it stands
Intellectual property
once paid in full, you own the code and reports we deliver for you; open-source components stay under their own licenses; we may reuse general know-how but never your code or data
Confidentiality
we keep your code, data and business information confidential and use them only to do your job; we will sign a reasonable NDA on request; this lasts during the job and for 2 years after it ends
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
our services and deliverables are provided as is, without warranties of any kind beyond the guarantee above; we do not guarantee any business result; our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us for the job concerned, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or data
Governing law and disputes
Governing law: the State of California. Venue / dispute process: we first try to resolve any dispute in good faith by email; if that fails, disputes go to the courts of the State of California.
Changes to these terms
we post changes on this page with a new Last updated date; changes do not affect a job already agreed in writing
